TAX DEDUCTIBILITY OF NWRA DUES: Dues to the organization are not deductible as a charitable contribution but may be deductible as an ordinary and necessary business expense. A portion of dues, however, is not deductible as a business expense because of the organization's lobbying activity. The non-deductible portion is 50% of the total dues paid.
MEMBERSHIP ACKNOWLEDGEMENT: The enclosed dues renewal provides membership in NWRA for July 1, 2022 – June 30, 2023. All member benefits will be available to my organization. It is sometimes necessary and timely for NWRA to contact its members by email and fax with news alerts, notification or member benefits, and other important information. As a member of the association, I consent to receive all emails and faxes of any kind, including commercial solicitations, sent by or on behalf of the NWRA. I understand that my email and fax information will not be sold to any outside entity.
VOTING PRIVILEGES: Individual Membership: Individual Members are entitled to one vote in the affairs of the association. Business/Professional, Agribusiness, Associations/Organizations, State/Regional Organizations, Financial Institutions, Chamber of Commerce, Irrigation/Reclamation Districts, NRDs, and Public Power Districts: Such members are entitled to the greater of two votes or one vote for each $400 in dues paid to a maximum of 4 votes.
